For Bali Hospitality Industries

Clean energy utilization is one of reliable aspects and could be used continuously for hotel operational. This is the thing that two subsidiary companies of PT. Pertamina (Persero) pioneered with MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) between PT. Pertagas Niaga (PTGN) and PT. Patra Jasa. The MOU signed by Linda Sunarti – Chief Director of PT. Pertagas Niaga and Teddy Kurniawan Gusti – PJ Director of Business Development of PT. Patra Jasa at The Patra Bali Resort & Villas on October 4th, 2018.

140 MMBTU LNG will be supplied by PTGN for PT Patra Jasa hotel unit, namely The Patra Bali Resort and Villas. LNG in a form of Vertical Gas Liquid (VGL) is supplied through a filling station at PT Badak NGL in Bontang, East Kalimantan. This LNG is then packaged in VGL/isotank which is delivered by ship to Java and Bali. The use of LNG is prioritized to reach areas that need gas energy but have not been reached by gas pipelines.

The synergy between PTGN and PT Patra Jasa is a collaborative step to support each other between PT Pertamina (Persero)’s subsidiaries. This synergy aims to make the company’s performance more focused and efficient with Pertamina’s standards so that the use and management of clean energy becomes a force to improve Indonesia’s economy
