The synergy between the parent company and its subsidiaries through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities was continued in Semarang City, precisely at the Patra Semarang Hotel & Convention on August 4, 2020. This activity raised three themes with different target recipients, namely Provision of Literacy Books for Schools Basic (SD), Waste Management, and Home Business Equipment for the Disabled.

Literacy books were distributed as many as 200 books to several elementary schools in Candisari District, Semarang aimed at increasing knowledge and helping stimulate children’s imaginations.

Training on the Management of Garbage into Livestock Feed and Transportation Equipment, was given to Karang Taruna Bawen, Candisari District, which aims to enable residents to minimize household waste and contribute to community income.

While the program for the Provision of Work Tools and Business Equipment for Disabled Homes was given to Roemah Difabel who is a partner of Patra Semarang Hotel & Convention in providing souvenirs for VIP guests. Roemah Difabel has produced various handicrafts, such as recycled bags, slippers, vetiver dolls, salted eggs, etc.

Hopefully, with this CSR synergy, PT Pertamina (Persero) and PT Patra Jasa can help improve the welfare of the Indonesian people.
