Patra Dumai Hotel Receives 3 Star Classification Certification

Patra Dumai Hotel was declared to have passed the hotel certification with a three-star classification from the audit process carried out by the Business Certification Agency PT Adi Karya Wisata. The certificate was received by the General Manager of Patra Dumai Hotel, Mr. Umar Abdul Jabbar, on July 12, 2021, at the Patra Dumai Hotel.

The Certificate of 3 Star Hotel Patra Dumai Hotel was handed over by Mr. Yuhardi Manaf, SE, MM from the Business Certification Institute (LSU) Adi Karya Wisata, which was witnessed directly by the Head of the Dumai City Youth Sports and Tourism Office, Mr. H. Syamsuddin, ST., M Si and the Chairman of the DPC Indonesian Hotel and Restaurant Association (PHRI) Dumai City Mr. H. Jamini Ishak and the management of Patra Dumai Hotel.

This certification is one of Patra Hotels & Resorts’ real efforts to support the improvement of product quality, tourism, service and hotel business management by taking into account the need for disciplined health protocols related to the Covid-19 pandemic. On that occasion, the GM of Patra Dumai Hotel, Mr. Umar Abdul Jabbar said that the acquisition of this 3-star certificate was a form of Patra Dumai Hotel’s commitment to compliance with government regulations and a commitment to continuously improve service quality in accordance with Permenparekram Number 53 of 2013 and Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy of the Republic of Indonesia Number 6 of 2014 concerning hotel business institutions.

“Alhamdulillah, nine months ago, on October 20, 2020, Patra Dumai Hotel started operating through a virtual soft opening, and this 3-star title is also the most beautiful gift in the momentum of the 46th anniversary of PT Patra Jasa, as the parent of Patra Dumai Hotel, ” he explained. “Hopefully the presence of Patra Dumai Hotel can provide added value and contribute to Dumai City tourism,” he added. He admitted, despite the opening of the Patra Dumai Hotel during the Covid-19 pandemic, Patra Dumai Hotel is committed to always supporting all government policies, especially in an effort to anticipate the spread of the Corona virus. To provide the convenience of visitors, he added, Patra Dumai Hotel provides an air purifier in every room and meeting room, carries out two vaccinations for all employees and tests rapid antigens regularly, and continues to apply strict health protocols as a top priority.He added that Patra Dumai Hotel had been certified Cleanliness, Health, Safety, and Environment (CHSE) from the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy (Kemenparekraf) of the Republic of Indonesia on November 27, 2020, then certificated for a 3-star hotel on June 23, 2021.

“Patra Dumai Hotel expresses its gratitude and highest appreciation to the government for giving Patra Jasa the opportunity to take part in hotel accommodation services in Dumai City. To PHRI DPC Dumai City, thank you for the recommendation and direction permits and LSU Adi Karya Wisata for helping us in carrying out the audit for hotel standardization and certification,” he said.

He further explained, Patra Dumai Hotel has 80 rooms, 2 meeting rooms, swimming pools for adults and children and other supporting facilities.“Hopefully in the future Patra Dumai Hotel will continue to maintain the quality of service so that guests feel safe and comfortable being served optimally with hotel facilities,” he hoped. Meanwhile, the Head of the Dumai City Youth, Sports and Tourism Office, Syamsuddin, congratulated the 3-star certificate received by Patra Dumai Hotel, while maintaining health protocols to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
