Patra Jasa is committed to improve and implement Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program each year. Located at Pertamina HSE Training Center, Palembang, this activity provided Food Safety Processing (PKP) training to more than 40 business owners of MSME (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises) around Patra Palembang and Patra Jasa workers in early June 2022.

Speakers in this training were the Head of BPOM Palembang – Zulkifli, Aris Wijayanto from the Banyuasin District Health Office, and Siska Indriyani, SE from the Banyuasin District Licensing Service. The materials provided ranged from Food Hygiene Sanitation Laws and Regulations, principles of food and beverage sanitation hygiene, procedures for issuing SPP IRT through OSS and its supervision, SLHS policies for restaurants and catering services, as well as the use of BTP, food labels and food safety.

The Head of BPOM Palembang stated, “The permits of Processed Food Distribution are very important for business owner of MSME and consumers, therefore we urge consumers to always check the condition of the packaging, make sure the information on the product label, check the product distribution permit, and make sure the expiration date of the product. So that it can be consumed safely. ”

“This activity aims to make it easier for business owner/MSMEs around Patra Palembang to do business and provide opportunities for Patra Jasa employees to get this Food Health processing competency certificate,” said Petrus I Wayan Eko Yuniarta, GM Patra Palembang.

Patra Jasa collaborated with the Banyuasin Health Office in organizing the training. This knowledge will make it easier for business owner to obtain a certificate of proper hygiene for their business, as required by the Banyuasin District Licensing Service. Patra Jasa is committed to continuously empowering the community around the operating unit which ultimately aims to improve welfare of the society.
